Technique
Real Sets, CG Animation & Stop Motion on Glass
The sets for Christmas Crackers were sculpted, by hand out of Plasticine. These were then filmed using our motion control system. The real-world lighting setup was then recreated digitally allowing us to seamlessly integrate our computer animated characters. Finishing final touches were then animated in plasticine on glass before everything was composited together.
